On the 25th of November we will be commemorating International Children’s Day at Chillida-Leku. To mark this day we would like to pay homage to the rights of all boys and girls to education. This is why we will be opening our doors and letting in children under the age of 18 free of charge and we will be programming a series of activities for children throughout the morning (from 10:30 to 14:30).
Universal Children’s Day is commemorating the approval of the Convention of the Rights of Children. This is an annual event devoted to solidarity at the museum, in accordance with the values that guided Eduardo Chillida in his life and work.
On this occasion, we have worked together with the NGO Jangela Solidaria to collect funds for an aid project to feed 500 orphans in Wukro, Ethiopia and raise awareness about their work. The money raised selling tickets on this day will be donated to this association.
