The duo, Little Red Suitcase was founded in 2005 by the pianist Johanna Borchert, (born in Berlin), and the singer and violinist Elena Setién Yeregui (born in Donostia). Since then, this duo, that combines styles like jazz, folk songs or classical music to create work of their own, has given concerts in several countries and brought out a CD.

 
The performance at Chillida-Leku will be given in collaboration with the dancer and choreographer Beatriz Setién, who is also from San Sebastián, and presents an original project; an encounter between composition and improvisation in which Eduardo Chillida’s sculptures and their surroundings will provide the starting point. The dialogue between dance, music, sculpture and audience will be the main element in a subjective journey through a variety of cultures and languages. References will be made to traditional artistic forms yet at the same time it will break with tradition. In short, this Christmas show will be an invitation to each individual to reflect on what they have seen and have fun but there will also be room for personal interpretations.
