At 12 o’clock midnight on 19th January 2005, Chillida-Leku Museum will raise the San Sebastián flag at Zabalaga farmhouse to the traditional accompaniment of the Sarriegui March.

This is the Museum’s way of honouring its possession of the Golden Drum granted by San Sebastián City Council last year, 2004.

The event will feature the “La Espiga” group, participants in the Tamborrada for the last 15 years including among its members Luís Chillida, son of the brilliant local sculptor.
