Biography:
Bertrand Chamayou is one of the most outstanding figures in the latest generation of French pianists. In February 2006, he won a Victoire de la Musique Classique prize as Instrumental Soloist Discovery of the year. In the same year he recorded his first record for Sony Classical, the 12 Etudes d’exécution transcendante by Liszt, which was enthusiastically received by the critics: (“Choc” in Le Monde de la Musique”, “9” in Répertoire).
