Biography:
The Hondore Choir was formed at the end of 1996, to meet the concerns of a group of friends and members of different choral groups in Gipuzkoa, with the aim of investigating the possibilities offered by choral music in greater depth.
The basic core of its first singers comes from the San Ignacio Choir, an affiliate of the Orfeón Donostiarra, a choir that up to December 1996 was conducted by Jesús Mª Unanue, the current conductor of Hondore.
