"Logos: The space of the word" RONDA - MÁLAGA · outside

The individual exhibition is placed in convent of Santo Domingo de Ronda, in Malaga, and is produced by the University of Malaga. It shows a great selection of sculptures, gravitations, engravings and drawings by Eduardo Chillida.
Yves Bonnefoy, San Juan de la Cruz and Parmenid, which were poets and philosophers in some way, used words in an exceptional way.
"Le Miracle du Feu" is a book of poems by Yves Bonnefoy with drawings of Eduardo Chillida. The book is a metaphor of classic subjects as life, death, the being and la absence, from a point of view that is not very far from that of the sculptor.
Spirituality is the subjects of the gravitations in black ink, drawings and ideas, which Eduardo Chillida dedicated to San Juan de la Cruz and his mystical poems.
"Saludo a Parménides" (greetings to Parmenid) is the name of the sculpture whose photographs are shown in the entrance of the exhibition and of the sketches near to them.
Music is also present at the exhibition, as something that is not very far from poetry or philosophy.  The music of J.S. Bach is present in some gravitations of this baroque composer, whose music could always listened at Eduardo Chillida’s studio.
"Palacio de Música" (palace of music), "De Música" (made of music), "Homenaje a Vivaldi" (tribute to Vivaldi), "Peine del Viento" (comb of wind), "Lurrak" (lands), "Casa del Poeta" (home of the poet) and "Homenaje a Bach" (tribute to Bach) are other sculptures that can be found in the exhibition.
