The Episcopal Palace of the Bishopric of Tortosa is opening an exhibition of work by the Basque artist Eduardo Chillida. This exhibition includes about forty engravings produced between 1970 and 1995.
In "Chillida: Codis" you can see 33 etchings, a lithograph, two xylographs, four silk-screen prints and a dry point. The exhibition also has figurative and floral pieces, deliberately unfinished drawings of hands and closed pieces of round geometrical shapes, which were works with which Chillida paid a personal tribute to Joan Miró after the artist’s death.
This exhibition forms part of the travelling exhibition that is going round Catalonia.
